MIGA DESIGN

With pleasure we introduce the works of a famous Croatian handweaver Mrs. Miroslava Margetić and her brand MIGA. Mrs. Margetić holds a master’s degree in biotechnology and spend her working life on synthetizing and application of pigments. She was a member of Soroptimist International, global volunteer organization aiming to improve the lives of women and girls through programs leading to social and economic empowerment. Since the time of the Homeland War in Croatia she was actively contributing to the restoration of heritage in Slavonia and Lika. Her works have been successfully presented at many exhibitions and awarded for collaboration with famous fashion designers. Mrs. Margetić possesses a rare enthusiasm and optimism and unselfishly shares her knowledge. This is how she has also contributed to the creation of the AMARA brand.
